Interactive Dance Party

Kids age 8-12 are invited to attend a party of dance games and freestyle with LA hip hop top choreographers Benedicte, Maya, Rhythm and Eclipse from HipHopDanceTV (www.hiphopdancetv.com).   
At Born To Play on Saturday July 28th and Saturday August 11th, from 8 to 10pm.

Summer 2012 Ballet Camp for Kids

Benedicte will be teaching in Norway from June 11th to July 3rd.
She’ll start up a 8 week summer session starting on Saturday July 7th until Wednesday August 29th.
If you’d like to arrange private or small group classes please call Benedicte at 310.498.4786.

Shiva Bagheri will have a summer session at Born To Play as well.
She’ll have 1 week summer camp June 25th-29th and a 10 week session starting June 12th to August 21st (no class on July 3rd). For more info click here or call Shiva at 818.913.2263.

Cithli’s Flamenco Show ~ May 27th 2012

We are very pleased to announce our project entitled Quien Yo  Soy (This Is Me) featuring dancer Cihtli Ocampo under the artistic  direction of Ethan Margolis.
The show will debut as part of the  “Forever Flamenco” series at the Fountain Theatre in LA on Sunday, May  27th at 8:00 pm.

Summer News!

Summer Dance Classes for kids will be every Saturday starting June 11th to September 10th. Check the Kids Schedule and drop in any time!

Fall Schedule 2011 for kids will start September 12th and is already up!!!

Benedicte will spend the summer in Oslo choreographing the Eurovision Song Contest for Norwegian Broadcasting. Catarina, Benedicte’s friend from the National School of Dance in Oslo, will cover Benedicte’s classes together with Marie Bergenholtz and some of Benedicte’s graduate students from UCLA. She will be back at the begenning of September and wants to wish everybody a GREAT SUMMER!!!

Marley floor and Dancing with the Stars!

Hello dancers! We are happy to let you know that at Born To Play we have just replaced our old wood floor with a new marley floor!

Celina Zambon (Flamenco) is touring Argentina and until next July she will be substitued by Alexandra Rozo. The schedule for Flamenco is still the same. For any question about her class, please contact Alexandra at (818) 588 2377.

We’d also like to share this picture of Benedicte and Sugar Ray Leonard; she gave him a special ballet class for Dancing with the Stars!
